On Sunday, 23rd January 2023, a free medical camp was held in Marulayampalayam, Salem. It was organised by the SONA MEDICAL COLLEGE OF NATUROPATHY and YOGA, located in Kandarkulamanickam, Salem and run by Dr. M. Sarojini and Dr. P. Regina. Fifteen students lent a helping hand in the camp.
At the camp, people who attended were given medical screenings for conditions such as blood pressure, eyesight, height, weight, and diagnosis. Moreover, they were also provided with free medical advice and services. Altogether, around 170 members benefited from the camp.
The SMCNY has announced plans to hold more of such free camps in other localities with the aim of helping people.
